Mike, you captured a really smile-provoking moment.  And the pose of the little girl on the right edge works as a nice echo of that of the main figure.

Very nice, though I'm not sure about the lady's taste in clothing.

But oh! to be at Sensoji now that spring is just around the corner. You're making me home homesick for Japan again.

Yes! The girl makes the shot for me

Thanks, everyone. Yes, the little girl in the background really helped here.

Very nice, though I'm not sure about the lady's taste in clothing.

It was not only her loud clothing, but her pretentious poses, that drew attention (and some disapproving looks). Note the three mobile phones.

Very interesting subject and nicely captured Mike. Not something I was expecting when I just saw the subject line. :D

Mongo liked the colour and spontaneous nature of the images. He was, however, very surprised to see someone of this woman's age to be acting like a teenager; especially in Japan.

The second image strongly suggests that she (and possibly some of her colleagues) were there in full dress celebrating an event.  In #2 she seems to be reviewing some of the public's photos of her - unless she selfies in stereo.. ;D

Thanks, Anirban. Serious about getting her posture and background just right, oblivious to those around her in a crowded place - quite selfish.

Thanks, Mongo. Yes, she was quite conspicuous for that reason. Very uncharacteristic - it was fascinating.

She is an adorable lady that projects character and self-consciousness. Besides those amiable qualities, probably having a lot of fun as well :D
