Akira - thanks. I think the solitary bird does convey a feeling of loneliness.

Dave, I do think the flying bird is an important element in the frame, but I feel the loneliness from the entire image. So, the harmony created by the part of the mountain, the cloudy sky and the bird feels essential to me.
