And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is why I shoot Fuji. (The defense rests...)

I can not understand why Nikon does not make a better mirrorless than these two, it is so easy. Just call it Nikon Everest.

I find the placement of a PASM dial in the exact position of the traditional shutter speed control to be embarrassing, and somewhat insulting.  Fujifilm.

"Best camera for the inebriated or overly caffeinated
Olympus offers 5-axis, 4 cocktails image stabilization. Fuji requires sobriety and no caffeine.
Winner: Olympus"

This may make me rethink my allegiance to Fuji.

The traditional placement of the shutter speed control is around the lens mount, not on top of the camera. That's how things were on the original Olympus OM series.

But with Ollies 5-axis of evil I suspect there will be more artsy photos with the Fuji  ;D

Ha ha ha...It depends on when one chooses to start the 'tradition'!
It seems that the earliest 35mm SLRs used neither!

My early SLRs(Praktica Super TL, Pentax Spotmatic) had it at the top deck, next to the prism housing.

The Olympus OM-2 Spot Program was my first SLR.  :)

Both of the MF film cameras (Hasselblad SLR and Fuji rangefinder) that I had ever used had their shutter speed rings around the lens barrels!

Not only Olympus OM-1/2, but also Nikkormart (Nikomart in Japan) FT series and FS cameras had shutter dials around their mounts.

probably leave some space for growth ?
even if they call it "Mt. Volcan Colima" it will be higher than Olympus or Fuji
