Getting a re-fill-Bellevue Square Park
« on: December 21, 2015, 16:43:18 »
Bellevue Square Park is a community park at the southern end of the Kensington Market District here in Toronto.
As I walked through the area last summer I noticed a young woman filling water bottles from the drinking fountain in the park.
I liked the serenity of the summer scene and grabbed this shot.
motorized Nikon f with meterless, eyelevel prism
Nikkor 180 2.8 ED AIS manual focus
Fuji 100 ISO colour slide
5.6 @ 1/1000th

I shoot with film. That's film. F...i...l...m. You remember film. It was in all the papers.

I have a bit of trouble accepting the colours of this image. The magenta impression reminds me too much of old outdated Fuji film "pushed" in development. I assume the image has been scanned to be presented to the web. Thus the question whether the displayed colours are true to the original or result from mismatched colour management by the scanner.

Image is not level.  That and the color could be fixed.  I like the geometry of the fountain and the girl.
