Yes, the tube and flanged frame joints are certainly from that era.

Nice bike (and your trusty D700/50mm are still going strong as well) - quality is evident in both camera & bike.

Morning ride. I learned that the Premier bikes were assembled in Brisbane (Australia) in the 80s with frames & parts imported from Japan.

Thanks Hugh! Yes other than being a bit loud, the D700 & my old prime lenses are still producing good results. As for the bike, I recently got interested in steel, vintage bikes. So more photos coming soon :-)

There is a no shortage of bicycles to rent in front of Union Station in downtown Toronto. Only a madman would ride one around those streets.

I discovered a lot of classic Peugeot bikes on an interrail trip to Paris (among other cities and towns..) this summer. Remember they were popular in Norway in the eighties.
