Sure looks like a Christmas card, but uncertain about the central figure, a beggar? on his knees.

Great tones for the subject, the ignored beggar is isolated and sticks out making the message even stronger.

cheers

A very powerful image about our society.
I thought that there weren't any beggars in Sweden?

It's an image that could go well in "A Christmas Carol"

There is much to be said about the subject of poor and/or suffering people, but suffice to say I think this time of year is a great time for reflection and feeling gratitude for those who are more fortunate.

That certainly sends a strong message, greatly captured. Makes me think about the horrible messages our politicians sends to the fugitives that comes to our country.

Impressive image

the snow seems to be coming down fairly strong,
the street has a mix of fresh snow and some melted making it difficult to walk
but walkers seem to be hurring
nice colors , and background

and then the figured that has obviously been kneeling there for some time, and seems to me not wearing gloves  ...

certainly an image that makes us think

A lot to like in the composition: the empty street in front of the beggar, everyone moving behind him, the lights in the windows in his back ...
Great picture of a though condition.

This street scene has a timeless feel to it, the modern day store fronts/signs take away from that a bit. Nonetheless it is quite the powerful image. The human being on their knees resembles a statue with the snow piling up on them.

The beggar makes it for me.  Otherwise just a very well taken and composed image.  I do love the tones and lack of saturation.
Many thanks for sharing.  It really makes me want to be somewhere with snow for Christmas, tired of hot beaches for the Holidays.
