Got invited to shoot a session with this extreme makeup
I liked how the model looked
The background was white, and with the make up white, I found it hard to get a lightning scheme I liked

Armando, these are lovely!
(perhaps a bit overexposed, but that's just me)

First shot has a really nice mood although a bit bright.

Thanks for the comments
I kept the exposure to the bright side to keep her looking white,
this I can reduce but then skin color starts to show in the darker (or no so bright) areas

Great images Armando, the hot exposure works for me in combination with the heavy makeup.

Love them Armando .... but, (the big but), In #1, my fav, I'd like to see deeper, darker grays and blacks (slightly more contrast), I'd make the lip just a tad darker ... and I'd clone out the vestige of the eyebrow.

Armando, Mongo suspected that the almost high key look was intentional on your part. It does work reasonably well in this context. Mongo agrees with Gary in large part. The best way Mongo has found to produce that result is PS - Image- Adjustments- in selective colour by choosing the neutral channel and adding black as needed.
In terms of the images’ appeal, working with that specific subject matter, #1 is measurably better. It is a stronger, more defined image largely becuase:-
-it is two dimensional with a very well defined outline of her face
-her expression is more powerful and compelling
-the red is far more pronounced and not competing with the drown of her eyes as it does in #2
-it is a more concentrated image (as it is more tightly cropped) down to a more distilled essence of the subject
-it is far more mysterious than #2 and therefore a bit more appealing to the imagination. The expression, pose and look intended in #1 seems in perfect harmony . #2 has a more mixed reaction with the smile and eye contact which seem a little at odds with the “hard” makeup look.
Very interesting/creative good work as always

Thank you Jan , Gary and Mongo
I should try and add more contrast
I also like #1 better than #2
The model has a crop of #1 as her profile photo in FB
