Gratitude
« on: November 26, 2015, 12:18:28 »
In the US we are celebrating a day of Gratitude (or as some see it, Black Friday Eve). Photography has been a great calling for me, for the most part I capture memories of friends, family and especially my now 10 year old daughter. I am grateful to be able to afford some special cameras and lenses and gear, the Nikon Df being one of my all time favorites. For the year ahead I hope to bring more artistic expression to my images, the creativity lives in all of us, I just need to give mine more room to grow and flourish. I also appreciate the community of like minded people I found on this little corner of the internet.

Have a great day and take some beautiful images!

Cheers,
Rob.

Should this be in the "introduce yourself" part of the forum?

You and your contributions in text and pictures are very welcome!!!!
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Happy Thanksgiving Rob.

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Every now and then is is good to reflect and be thankful for the gifts we have. Photography, the ability to capture a slice of time, freeze a fraction of a second and hold that fraction for all time ... is a wonderful gift ... a gift that I am thankful.

(Even if your culture doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving today ... Happy Thanksgivng anyway.   :) )

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Black Friday tradition has been picked up by shops here in Denmark too.
