You could make your own REC ... Raw Editing Contest ... in this thread.

You post the RAW and define the goal .... muted, cold, moody, damped color, definition in details without global contrast
pumping .... and see what happens ...

Yes Frank, I was thinking about doing something along those lines. I have been working on it a bit more but I will admit to being a bit out of my depth. It always end up losing its 'feeling' when I start to add more contrast. I think it needs a gentle touch. I'll upload the RAW image somewhere and share a link.
