The first image is very gripping. On a separate note, every-time I see your photos, I hit the F2 button to increase my screen's brightness even if it's at max already. We are just so used to seeing brighter pics. Your bw rendering is beautiful.

I keep my monitor calibrated (Apple). Maybe it is my taste to produce darker pics.

I find very interesting the first one. The perspective and point of view works with the dynamic creating a dramatic tension: there is a lot of space for the frozen in time people and the living seems constricted by the ceiling. Cool.  I think cropping out a bit of the top accentuates that feeling.
