SRSLY, they want to put DRM in JPEGs
« on: October 15, 2015, 04:43:55 »
The Joint Photographic Expert Group, which oversees the JPEG format, met in Brussels today to discuss adding DRM to its format, so that there would be images that would be able to force your computer to stop you from uploading pictures to Pintrest or social media.

I'm for DRM on JPEGS, as long as I control the DRM for everyone else.  They'll all pay to me!  I'll be rich!  RICH, I tell you...
The only function of DRM in my life has been to make me completely uninterested in buying Bluray discs. Fools!
