Dave, I love the last two images. In addition to your obvious skill, you seem to have got a really good sample of 18-35 zoom.
Thanks, Akira - it is an excellent sample, much sharper than the 16-35 AFS VR I had before, but yesterday it took a really serious knock - serious enough to put a large dent in the barrel of the lens. Last night I ran some tests for focus accuracy, overall sharpness and possible skew, and it performed wonderfully - one might almost say, perfectly. And this is the lens which fell in the river with me, six months ago.
Beautiful images, with the wide angle put to good use. Looks like we won't need to bring umbrellas.
