Hi from an old timer

Hi there,
I've been interested in photography for the best part of my 76 years owning a variety of 120 and 35mm film cameras through to my first digital (Canon) and finally opting for Nikon (had owned a Nikon 35mm SLR back around the late eighties) after my son turned Pro and standardised on Nikon.
I sold my D7100 before moving from the UK to Australia four years back and only recently acquired a D7200 with a low (<4K) shutter count and in excellent condition. Apart from the 'kit' 18-140 lens I picked up a used 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 for almost nothing and now intend to continue entertaining myself trying to be 'creative' :-)

We have a pond, and for years I've been trying to get a dragonfly in flight.  I go out with D7100 and various lenses, and try and try, and I've come pretty close a few times.  Earlier this summer, my wife and I were down there with a granddaughter, taking snaps of one sort or another, and my wife, with D7200 and 70-300P lens, notices a dragonfly going by. Bang bang. Nailed it in two shots. 

Being of course a generous and impartial judge of things, I suggest it's obvious that the D7200 is superior.

Congratulations on your move to Australia. I moved from the UK to Canada twenty-four years ago. February sometimes has me wondering if Australia would have been a better choice
