Hi, Peter, this is amazing!  Apparently you didn't suffer from the light pollution which makes such image making impossible here in Tokyo...

Looks like you had a great night for it Peter - lovely image.

I know the approach might be different, but did you get a chance to catch the meteors that have been visiting us this week? The weather in the UK has been quite cloudy this week, but it was clear enough last night to see quite a few (I didn't attempts any pictures)

Akira, here at home this also would not be possible. While I am sure we have less light polution than you do, this was taken about 500km from my home.

Colin, I was not aware of a meteor shower, but did see a number of shooting stars one evening. Not sure I captured any of them though.

Peter, thanks for the additional info on the location.  Here in Japan, it might be impossible to get 500km away from the light pollusion source in the first place.  :D
