Amazing!  No idea how you shot it!

...done in a single shot. Getting the idea was more difficult.

The blue circles on the bottom are fingerprints. On a window and in shade? With sunrise behind it?

Very impressive! Do you happen to sell bottles of inspiration?

Only by example.

The actual scene is pretty much mundane, in fact. However, what we capture in a photo and what we see might not always be identical. It is up to the photographer.

Tree logs and camera movement? The result is outstanding

No movement, none at all.

If I told you, you would laugh. So let's save that sharing for the next time in Spain, shall we? Or Norway, if you prefer :)

That was the only thing I could tell.  I thought you handhold the first half of the long exposure and swung the camera upwards.  But that should be difficult to hold the camera still enough to keep the bottom part of the frame (shot during the first half of the exposure) sharp.   :o

As spring approaches, the winter forests around me awake to become more dangerous.

for me it looks like a pile of logs in long exposure. Opposing light and generous use of a zoom lens, so that it is a double exposure in a single frame.

Just a single click, with the 105MC lens (which has no zooming capability). Hand-held exposure around 1/250 sec. The general tendency is to overcomplicate simple things.

Anyone could have got the same shot.

A micro 105?  That makes things complicated, unlike your advice.  How can this perspective distortion came from a mid-tele lens?  Did you just shoot an image reflected on a warped surface?

I have already said too much. Leave something to imagination.
