Frank, thanks for your enigmatic response.  You suggest a movie title?

Francis, thanks.  I agree: clouds are fascinating!

Lovely subtle tones but I find the leaning buildings spoil the mood a little.

Dave, thanks for the comment.  Maybe I can use a different method/mode in Photomerge.  Will try.

Corrected the leaning.  The operation was a bit tricky.

I feel you present a collection of clouds over the weeks to form your own "Altlas" or "Dictionary" ... so the film title immediately sprang to my mind.

Thanks, Armando.

Frank, I haven't had any time to go out with my camera.  But fortunately my doorway is pretty open for Tokyo, and I see many clouds in interesting shapes at my door, hence the collection of clouds.  I see various clouds due to the crazy heat of this summer stirring up the atmosphere.

Nice photo merge, Akira.
I would be shooting those roof tops all night, very picturesque!

Do I see dust spot on you sensor in the sky?
Since you're merging images, have you thought about using a longer lens in order to avoid distortion?

Thanks, Jakov.

Yes, there are some dusts on the sensor.  Well "spotted"!  :D

And yes, I'm considering a 50 or 85mm prime to avoid the potential distortion.  I'm thinking about starting a thread asking about the sharpest lens in this range when focused at distance or infinity.

I guess a any of the many 50/1.8 would do the trick :)

Yes, I agree.  Actually AF-S50/1.8G was pretty good on D610.  On thing to concern would be that the pixel density is higher on DX.  Even the sensor resolution of D7000 is almost as high as that of D800/810.
