Title: San Francisco Bay from the East Bay Hills

I had the opportunity to catch some good weather from a photographic standpoint back in January.  These photos are from the hills east of San Francisco Bay looking towards the bay.  Nikon Z6, 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, heavily cropped.

The bridge in the second photo is the Hayward-San Mateo Bridge.

Nice views. I used to ride my bike up tunnel road, down to Redwood  park or head North to El Cerrito. Now I live across the bay.

All look great.  Lighting and atmosphere are captured nicely.

My favourite is #2 for the warm colours, the silhouette of the trees and the miniature airplane :)

Thanks for the comments!  There's also an airplane in the first shot, not quite as conspicuous as in the next one.

We're now finishing up our rainy season which runs from November through March in this Mediterranean climate.  Unfortunately, rainy views like these have been far too scarce this past winter and we're faced with serious drought.  Soon the weather will switch to spring mode and we'll be getting fog and low clouds off the ocean but no rain, interspersed with warm to hot days of dry heat.  It's going to be a bad year for wildfires in California after two consecutive winters of only half-normal precipitation.
