Eddie,
Thank you for sharing this sad news.
I have to admit I am deeply affected by this turn of events no matter how predictable.
My quest of taking images with my phone has almost completely alienated me from my DSLRs.
Not only the quality of photography but the quality of all media and all spheres of life have taken a downturn.
I am devastated!

Sorry to hear about photokina and specially about your situation Jakov. May the future be brighter and more creative than ever.
-
We just have to find another "excuse" for visiting you, Jakov :)

Thank you, Paco!
I may have sounded too melancholic... I was referring to the world of art (not me).
Photography will pick up again, as soon we start to travel again.
Birna, we will organise The Hague gatherings again regardless of Fotokina :)

At bit of drama 8)
But yes, that is sad news - For sure we will be back anyway somewhere somehow ;)

Never made it to Photokina, now it appears to be too late

Same here... :'(
But I haven't give up the opportunity to take part in the NG gathering to see many of you guys in person!

Meeting Jakov, and you, Birna, and all the others is enough of an excuse. We’ll meet again in The Hague in 2021.
