Quick fix actually. I used the Metabones Lens Adapter for Nikon F-Mount, G-Type Lens to FUJIFILM G-Mount GFX Camera, which does not support the E-type Nikkor lens. So I had to fix the aperture at f/8 by attaching to my D850 with the cap on, in aperture priority set to f/8 depressed the shutter and removed the lens before the shutter closed. This could have been any f-stop.
since I primary use this lens at f/8 it was no problem for me.

the widest I can get with the Fujinon lens is 23mm, so having a lens this wide with an image circle that will cover the sensor makes quite a difference. (15mm if you apply the MF factor for this camera = .79).
