This is impressive on so many levels.
As a piece of art, it's rich and enticing.
Having heard you talk about these less common Nikkors elsewhere, this is a great example of the results that are possible when used by skilled hands

Nice. A medium format camera should be the way to go to take advantage of a lens that offers larger image circle.

Very nice example of the capabilities of the AM Nikkor. Which is pretty non-exotic as far as Nikkors go since it was an ordinary lens for view format cameras. Probably not amongst the best-sellers of its time, though. I still have my copy and admire its qualities even today.

yes.. I do like this lens and I am glad that I had the opportunity to purchase it for a reasonable amount, may have been on a trip to Tokyo.. the rival lens for me is the Schneider Makro-Symmar which feels sharper to me.

This is lovely. I generally am not a huge fan of black backgrounds, but it works great here.
How malleable do you find the files with this Fuji?

the Fuji 50R provides a lot of room for pushing the image.. with landscape I can push maybe 3 stops easily, for example using gradients/luminosity masks can bring out sky detail.
