Title: PC 85mm f2.8 axis shift rotate issue .
Post by: CardBoardBoxProcessor on June 30, 2020, 05:11:08
Small problem.
The two flat cables that connect the front to back move about into the lens area and stopped it from shifting which led to them beginning unplugged.
I can probably plug them back in but won't they just be in the way again?
Obviously it works without apperature data just fine but I'd like to resolve this best I can

The Boss will answer that one when he sees it. (It's one of my favorite lenses.)

Yes, longer cable is needed for a good solution  ;)
You can get it from Nikon.

Hmm. I guess I'll get a quote and see if it is worth it. I ended up just gaffers taping them down inside the body. Thanks

Thankfully the lens works fine. Actually be finally used it today for the first time. Amazingly sharp and versatile.
