Title: beach
Post by: smusesuse on August 02, 2015, 15:15:27
After the recent storm in the Netherlands, this is what the beach looked like yesterday. No walking barefoot for me...

In time it will make some perfect fine sand... :-)

Wonderful image , not the typical beach image

Thank you for your comments!

I guess that will take quite a while... :)

Thank you, Armando! To be honest I liked the idea in my head more than the result I got in the end. But I guess that can happen sometimes.

Nice angle - works well.

A different perspective of a beach, and it certainly does not invite to go barefoot :)

Great effect. If you lose the lower 8 to 10% it will even be better.

Interesting and well done. (Frank in on the mark with the OOF foreground.)

Thank you all for your nice comments, I really appreciate them!

Thanks Frank, I will try another crop tonight. (And probably post again.)

Wow, this forum is great. Sooo helpful.

Better like this?

Yes, more focus indeed.  One can even think of a 'portrait' version  with the two mysterious strangers on the left.

Thank you, John. I'd never have thought about a portrait version, I'll give it a try!

I like this a lot. Good thinking.

Of course you should see it yourself and like it. OutOfFocus Front does work only in very rare cases

Yes, I like it. :) The original version was an intentional crop too, though.

Where and why did you learn hear think that? I completely disagree!

IMHO Instead of cropping you should re-shoot it with more depth of field if needed...
