so having modified a Combo Actus XL-35 with a stackshot motor applied to the rear standard focus knob has made this stacking procedure much easier.

It's very nice to see the 120AM, a favourite of mine in the view camera age, continues to do service with a modern DSLR. The result looks excellent as well.

so the 120AM is one of my favorites and allows a lot of movement with the Actus.

It ought to as Nikon made it to cover 4x5" film in the designated range 1:5 to 5:1 magnification.
The 120 does deliver good results at infinity focus as well, but towards infinity the image circle barely covers the 6x9 cm format.
