Now that looks like one fine mirrorless digital camera.  A small pity it is not full frame!

My error and I humbly apologise!  I left out "successor"  after" X-100F" in the subject title.
Moderator changed the Subject to:X-100F successor unveiled today: X-100V

People who ABSOLUTELY need full frame for their work will pick a different camera. Professionals who need a big sensor probably use medium format anyway, so...

Honestly, that camera is compact and packed with features: OVF and EVF, built-in ND filter, leaf shutter, 4k at 30fps, tilting touchscreen, etc. And it's freaking beautiful. I mean look at that chassis and the top layout. I don't know about global camera sales but man, Fuji's APS-C camera are so good.

A small pity it is not full frame!

There are at least two series of digital compact cameras with non-interchangeable fixed focal length lenses and 35mm full-frame sensors: Leica Q/Q2 and Sony RX1 series. However, the lenses are comparatively large, making the lens + camera much thicker. The X100V has a really small lens, no doubt thanks in part to its APS-C sensor.

113 x 65 x 72 mm Sony RX1R II
130 x 80 x 92 mm Leica Q2
128 x 75 x 53 mm Fuji X100V

Also there is a large difference in price: in local stores where I live, the X100V is about 1500€ while the Leica Q2 is 5000€ and Sony RX1RII 4300€.

I think it's great that Fuji makes a more affordable option (than the full-frame models) and that it has the optical viewfinder, central shutter, much more compact lens and other nice features.
