Title: Centrale nucléaire de Chinon
Post by: Fons Baerken on August 26, 2019, 14:57:52
Nuclear facility outside of Chinon on the river Loire, France.

I have taken a number of pictures  of this power plant on my latest stay in France.
Weather conditions were different since i took them over a couple of days.

An interesting series Fons - thanks for sharing.

In this day and age I am surprised that one can get so close to a nuclear facility and be allowed to photograph it.

Actually you cant stop anywhere, so i had to find my way from a distance driving through vineyards.
Though there is a visitors' center i didnt care to visit reason you mentioned.

Good series.  I notice that the architectural style of nuclear power plants is as drab in Europe as it is here in the USA.
