Some of you may not have heard from the flower island Mainau in Lake Konstanz. Whenever you plan to visit the southwestern part of Germany, it is well worth a visit (btw: Konstanz too). The isle is basically a botanical garden with various trees, plants, and flowers. It also features a butterfly garden. These pictures aresome random photos (or snap shots) from a trip last weekend. All taken with Olympus PEN-F, 17mm 1.8 lens and a B+W circular polarizer. Thanks for looking.

Bodensee (the German name for the lake) has 2 famous isles: Mainau for flowers and Reichenau for vegetables

Good weather indeed helps to admire nature. Blue skies do help for these type of (vacation) pictures although I do like clouds too!
