it's nice but there's something that just doesn't look right :o :o :o
the 100/1.4 is awesome,too

Colours too saturated for bokeh to be pleasing, imo.
The nikkor afs 28mm f/1.4E may be better in this respect?

The Otus looks, technically, very good wide open.
Some want the optical flaws that add charm to OOF subjects, others want the lens to have less of a visual signature.
I think the Otus, with its more perfect rendering, will be a challenge to work with. Keep shooting!

Looks like a Golden Hour shot to me which explains the color saturation.
I compared the new 50 1.8 S to my Otus 55 on the Z7 the other day. Yes, the S lens is sharper, but without the character or bokeh of the Zeiss.
