Apparently, I am condemned to shoot pictures while doing something else: e.g. commuting (from Mo to Fr), or fetching a vegetable refill from the Sunday market (here).

All shot with the Df and 105/2.5 AI, a.k.a. "whatelse".

You have posted many images for similar concept over time.  The entire series has grown to be like "Brassai in the daytime" to me.  The images makes me "think".

Thanks Akira.I do not put much value on coincidences, but here's one I just discovered : "en passant" is not just "passing by" and a chess term, but happens to be the title of the sole theater play written by Raymond Queneau. It was first staged in 1947, using backdrop photographs by... Brassaï.

Coincidence or not, it seems to be an interesting thread.  Brassaï is one of my favorite photographers.
