Tak Bent. Det tog mange billeder af trådløs fjernudløser at få skudt med mange throwaways. Parret indlejret i min have i et modent æbletræ. Jeg filmede dem udgravning deres nesting hele. Meget hårdt arbejde for dem. Jeg anser det for en gave fra gudernes Fugleopdræt. Vinklen var typisk da det nærmede sig reden, det vil bank på 90 du., stramme vending i den rugende hul. Tak Bent for dit besøg og venlige kommentarer.

Thank you Bent. It took many frames by wireless remote shutter release to get the shot with many throwaways. The pair nested in my garden in a mature apple tree. I filmed them excavating their nesting hole. Very hard work for them. I consider it a gift from the birding gods. The angle was typical as it approached the nest, it would bank at 90 deg for a tight turn into the nesting hole. Thanks Bent for your visit and Kind comments.

The foreground bleeding on the wings give them
a very interesting aspect of transparency. Cool!

Thanks NS. I was more surprised by the result than you I think.

Peter, Armando, Frank, thank you all for your visit and kind comments. I'm sorry to say my time in the field is rapidly declining due to health issues that tax my mobility. The natural process of aging is taking its toll at age 74. My Peter Pan mentality has me forever fantasising about buying a live on sailboat and cruising the Haida Gwaii and the Great Bear Rainforest on Canada's BC coast. To argue in the face of reality is surely folly. So I accept reality and get much pleasure from sharing the photos from my archive. I look forward to posting many from my last trip to the Haida Gwaii.

Sorry to hear about your reduced mobility. Age is a bugger and catches up to all of us sooner or later.
