What a beauty, but the price could be lower... :P

That price is ridiculous! Nice lens though :)
-
Roland beat me to it ... no Noct is worth that price.
At present I have several Nocts, but they certainly cannot be classified as 'pristine'.
-
Twill be ending up as a collector's item (ridiculous) or in the bag of a photographer with an overloaded wallet + no bearing on the real world of a lens' value.
...otherwise the seller has to get her/his feet back on the ground ;D
-
But the shipping is free!

Oh well then, where's my wallet.......... ;D

I have two in almost mint condition. If anyone is interested I could sell one.

don't tempt me.

With upcoming release of f/0.95 neonoct, I wonder if this might be the best time to sell. Other than collector value it would seem to be losing some of its specialness.
-
I'm afraid the 58/0.95 will come with AF, VR, god knows what, wheighing 1 kg or so... another Otus 55, so to say... having a compact, reasonably heavy lens is important too.
The old Noct, in my experience, provides just the right amount of inertia and stability.
-
AF yes, VR won't be built into the lens, not needed for this fast aperture, plus the camera will have IBIS...
-
OK. 800 g with lots of plastic then ;)

Now we have the new Z Noct-Nikkor and its f/1.2 looks compact even ;)

Silly price, very silly.
"New in box"? Not when I start using it... right?
Oh don't use it, what's the point? Should I put it on an alter and worship it?
I see this more as a very (un)humble brag. Good for the owner, it's his lens and he is free to do whatever he likes with it.
-
Sad for the lens that should see more usage in good hands.
