The old Noct at minimum focussing distance, which is not necessarily a good idea.

The subtle contrast between the elegantly pink flower and somewhat grayish background creates the sentiment as poignant as the album posthumously released...

Thanks all. The picture was shot "en passant" while visiting my Mom at the hospital on Easter day (I could have imagined a better way for her to celebrate Easter).

The imperfections of the lens can be praised for the result, but I had to keep them in check by stopping down at f/2.0 on this picture.
