As in the subject.
I have used it with infrared filters on a Fuji IS-Pro (a Nikon 200 without UV-IR blocking filters), and it worked well, if the Sun was away of the image.

I have the original version, bought new in late 2008. Tokina has since released a second 11-16 mm version and an extended range 11-20 mm f/2.8. I used mine first with a D200, then a D7000. I think you'd be able to get a used copy of the first version very cheaply now. It is an outstanding lens, with a nice point of view. Mine is very sharp, even wide open, though best a little zoomed in from the 11 mm limit. Two limitations to be aware of: (i) The sun striking the front element at a glancing angle produces an ugly, elongate green ghost. Watch out for this. (ii) Noticeable lateral chromatic aberration in the corners, but easily corrected in post-processing.
Mine doesn't get too much use nowadays, but for many years it was an excellent workhorse lens. Two photos from the D7000 attached.
Cheers, John

I love the Tokina 11-16! I think the Tokina lenses can be underrated.
I used mine for an event that required me to shoot in some pretty low light. I also used it quite a bit at Yellowstone National Park this year. On the D500, it has pleased me every time I've used it. I'm planning on using it for shooting a Chinese Lantern Festival here in a few weeks.
Here are some samples of what I've used it for:
