wow , really like the second one !
first is also very nice
Very nice silhouettes
-
Your images to me, look like stills from a movies
-
True silhouettes are rare. These are excellent; particularly #1
-
These images have the universal appeal, regardless of the cultural backgrounds or religions.

Thanks for all of the comments. I do not usually shoot stuff like this, big cities are more of my type of playground. 8)
Both of the photos were shot just a bit before sunset. The sky in the first shot was really that dramatic. I simply underexposed in the camera by at least two stops to really showcase the sky and bring the foreground into deep shadow creating the silhouette. Same thing for the second shot of the kids playing.
-
Fantastic graphic quality. I like your choices a lot.
Thanks Rick!
-
In particular the second one has strong impact and encapsulates a story on its own.
-
I say this a lot, but I prefer both flipped horizontally, because that creates more tension. I have taken the liberty of flipping your shots to illustrate - I hope you don't mind.
-
Depends on the external context and culture, for example, whether one "reads" images left-right or right-left.
The suggested flipping didn't work at all for me.
-
Right turn works for me also
Nice photos #2 most
-
Great shots, especially the 'original' 2 with the kids playing.
-
Thanks for the comments.
The flipping of the photos did not seem to do much for me, but whatever works for you, Les, is fine with me. :)

You've made beautiful and striking use of solid black in the compositions. So many photographers seem to crave bold, solid blacks in their finished photos but seem to place them obsessively in all darker areas or shadows that appear in the shot.
