The picture below shows the initial Matrix structure I worked hard to achieve for my forays into the Norwegian nature,

The embedding of elements into a Matrix helps stabilise and facilitate their transport and accessibility during shooting. Everything is where you would expect it to be ...
Over the following years, I worked hard to improve the original structure. Here the Matrix is Revisited after seven years.
Are the changes less than might be imagined? or what do you say?

Safe travel!

I think you need more stuff.
-
Ha! too many cameras, not enough tripods!!
Maybe Andrea needs to visit with her organizational skills... On second thought, looks just fine to me.
-
Ha-ha!!
What happens is that when you are exposed to the Matrix, it starts creepin', creepin', creepin' into your head and soon you are adding to it and all your organizational skills skitter away like a puff of dandelion seeds in the wind. Splooff !!! :o After a while it becomes normal to rummage around through several feet meters of Nikon lenses and bodies to lay hands on just the right Sachtler.

no breaking in into the boot of the car?
-
How do you find the one camera with the one shot you want to develop?
-
There is a system in the seemingly chaotic structure ....
Besides, camera cards are downloaded and files edited every night. Cannot have backlogs.
-
just pack a little less for SA..
-
Airline regulations take care of that Elsa - don't fear. I'll bring a backpack and just a little more.
-
Oh I dont mind - I am just not carrying it ;D ;D ;D
-
I wish my desk was that tidy...
-
Yeah, that looks very well stabilized: it would not be any worse (or should I say better?) ! ;D
-
Ah, there it is -- the older version of the Matrix awes at first, but then I see you can pull a rabbit out of your boot.
-
where are the buckets for handy transport of cameras :)
-
If you are ever 'rear-ended' ... you'll have to give a lot of explanations to the insurance company.
-
Be careful with those woolen socks .. I'd keep them in a good distance from the gear :D
-
You are not giving the Law of Entropy (2nd law of thermodynamics) a chance! I see some evidence over the years of an attempt at order - maybe a trip over some very bad bumpy roads at high speed will aid in restoring the balance nature craves.
-
Phew! You gave me a fright there, Bjørn. For a horrible moment I thought you were going to go all tidy on us. ;)
