1. Lesser Kestrel Female plus minus 12 "
2. Jackal Buzzard plus minus 24"

Great work here Elsa. I like them both.
I would hate to be on the receiving end of those beaks and talons. The mouse only has his tail showing - oh well nature has its own ways of disposing of pests!
-
Thanks Hugh. It took a while to pull the mouse apart - and then swallowed the last bit rather quick - I almost missed it - I was pretty close but didnt want to scare it off by getting into it's face
-
Nice, particularly the buzzard. What do you mean by plus minus 24"?
-
Thank you Bruno
24" in length - tip to toe - so about twice the size of the Kestrel
-
I love the last one, great photos. Could not figure out what was hanging out the Kestrels mouth until I read about the mouse.
-
Dankie Fanie :)
-
The second one looks rather like a bird of pride. Great capture as always.

GREAT images++
If you ever get tired of that lens, you can always ship it to me. I'll even pay the postal fees 8)

Elsa, I love Raptors. The composition and background are great in that Buzzard image.
Cheers
-
Thank you Tommie. Raptors are magical
-
I think the kestrel is magical Elsa.
What's he swallowing? Do you know?
-
