A boxed Noct-Nikkor AI-s is coming up for auction in a few days.
Located in the UK, the starting price is quite reasonable.

Poor lens - looks unused, now to be auctioned away to end up standing on a collector's shelf ....
The estimated price looks very attractive though, but I don't need another Noct.

That may be true; but at least it won't be trashed before a member of the next generation may or may-not get a chance to experience one of these rare items. Many of the well used examples will no doubt end up in landfill within the next 10-20 years.

Yes but will the ending price be reasonable and does the seller ship to the new wood?

You'd be a millionaire if you could forecast auction ending prices ;-)
The conditions sre always stated at the auction site. included the nearly 30% auctioneers premium
on top of the auction end price - hope you saw that...??

That Noct was sold for £ 1.900, so didn't go very cheap.... Add the auction fee on top of that plus import taxes if you are outside UK/EU and price was well into if not above the range asked on eBay.
