One on a mission :o
Great take, Ron!
-
Thank you Elsa and Thomas. The mission was dinner.

Ron:
Intense stare, good shooting angle, although somewhat busy, the gray sticks in the background match his colors well!
I find that generally bird shots are most engaging if the head is turned towards us a bit, but I feel this one is still effective.
Cheers

Spectacular, Ron!
-
Excellent shot all round Ron.

Wonderful photo...I noticed the long feathers at the back of the neck...hmm, what are they for? A quick search revealed the fascinating answer.
-
Thank you everyone. I might need to take more photos of birds.

Very good photos. Captures the focus and intensity of these littoral hunters!
-
"might" isnt even a option. just do it. The last one is as beautiful. Well done.
-
These are very good, you have captured the hunter's concentration and the technical issues are all excellent.
-
Better than anything I've got of that bird Ron!
-
Thank you gentlemen and Elsa.
