this is a great old scene ! not your usual contrast though (presumed intentionally).

Mongo would do anything to go back to Japan - would even consider turning human to do that ! You are going to love the place and its people and just so many other things.

Thank you Akira!
I'm loving your country even if the light is not great these days.
In Hakone I could not see Mount Fuji. It was so very foggy.
If God allow I'll surely come back.
 :) :)

To be honest, I'm not sure which is my favorite B&W PP converter yet. I depends on my mood at the moment I'm working on it.
I've always used the basic B&W converter of the PS CC but since Silver Effex became free I started using it.
Since then I realized my pics became contrastier.
In this particular pic I used the Silver Effex with a softer filter that I think was more suitable to the scene.
You are right: I'm in love with Japan.
Best regards.

Dave Paterson will love this.
The style of Japanese gardens is very special.
Id love to see a color version of this.

Sorry you couldn't see Mt. Fuji.  Hope you can see from the right side of Shinkansen (the super bullet train) to Kyoto.
