Michel, welcome to the NG bunch :)

Welcome to NikonGear! Do feel at home ;)

As long as the plenty of gear most of us have here does not hold us from taking photos all is well.
If it does it is time to sell unused stuff.
Love to have you here. Looking forward to your contribution.

Bonjour Michel
Welcome from another suburban!
Olivier
-
Welcome there. By the way, let us plan a Michel + Olivier + Airy apéro. My suggestions = la Terrasse (M° école militaire) or Le Frame (M° Bir Hakeim or Champ de Mars)
-
Good idea. I work in Paris (near the Arc de Triomphe) 2 or 3 times per week, we should easily find a date.
-
I work in the South suburb but can go to Paris, Tuesdays will be great if you' re ok
-
Fine by me.
Oct 11, 18 and 25 look good so far.

Welcome Michel.

11 is OK for me, 18 not 10-12, 25 probably not at all. Time and location ? (note: I arrive in Paris around 8:15 at Gare du Nord every morning, and can be from 8:45 at the Terrasse, or about 8:50 at the Frame - other locations OK as long as reasonably accessible from Gare du Nord, e.g. anywhere around St Michel...)
-
11 is just perfect, St Michel too, at what time?

For me it could be as early as 8:30

For me it could be as early as 8:30
PM I hope ::) AM I can't ;)
-
OK but propose when. Not too late if possible, since I have to get back home afterwards (to Lille / La Madeleine) before everybody's asleep.
-
Do 5:30*-6:00 PM fit you ?
*St Michel only, it's the earlier I Can
-
That would work indeed. St Michel or any location in Paris is OK.
-
OK then St Michel Oct 11 from 17:30, exact place to be determined. I do no longer have favourite places there, in the sense that it is packed full of tourists and the cafés would treat their guests as cash cows, but I'll do some research.
