...The message body was left empty...I agree

Wonderful. Another coffee earned! Inspiring.
-
Very inspiring. I especially like the last one!
-
Frankfurt is extremely crowded at noon!
The elevator is super!
-
thank you Frank, Anirban and Jakov for looking and commenting
not much people there - the place is in front of Bethmann school for bankers and they are not here on sundays
I played with BW settings in the camera
-
The elevator is my favourite too. nice series.
-
thx Elsa for commenting
the elevator was a collateral damage because no subway was coming
-
some more of the same day - still not many people, but one at least busy
-
Really like that escalator image. The processing is very nice on the B&W images as well.
-
thanks Andrew
I was playing with BW mode in my DF, using the colour filters and contrast settings
afterwards on my computer, I must say, the conversion at home gives me more freedom
taking BW in place gives me more understanding for the outcome, means
shooting BW plus RAW is the solution
-
Old style film like rendering underlines a feeling of destitute
-
Fons, destitute - how do you mean it? In the content of these pictures or in general?
this is a rich part of Frankfurt, the European Central bank is just 200m away
the subway is the Zoo station
-
destitute in the psychological sense, empty and lonely
-
First, third, last are to my linking. The first wins as of the light and the mood it transfers.
-
Agree with you Thomas. The first one has a compelling atmosphere, somehow.
-
Thomas and John thanks for commenting
you figured out my fav :)

Yes, indeed - that is a good way to go about it - best of both worlds.
