You know what to show at first. Impressive! I also like the third one. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

a very good series of the overall experience.
Mongo has always found this sport to be particularly difficult to photography well. the distance between the kite and its pilot is the biggest issue. As such, you try and photograph a little further away to sometimes get both in the image and then both are too small. Composites like collages (and individual images as you have done often work best HOWEVER, your use of the fisheye is a brilliant idea Mongo has not seen before for this sport. Big thanks for showing us the these images and this possibility

Thank you for the comments, Akira and Mongo.
I have a big arsenal of lenses and enjoy the possibilities they provide.

Very nice shots Aguinaldo
I like the closeups of the surfers

I am longing for summer.

Nice shots!
I've never owned either of these lenses, can you shoot 50mm hand held?

This 500mm has VR and can be shot handheld, but I did not like the results of the only time I tried it.
Pics were ok but not tack sharp as it is normally delivered.
Thank you for the comment.

Sorry, missed one zero. lol
I guess I am not used to talk about anything above 300mm - at least I have never owned or shot with anything longer than that!

You should try.
So much fun.

Great series, and I expecially favour the fisheye takes and #3.
It motivated me to start diggin' for a series I shot less recently in Northern Germany on the North Sea coast.
I hope it's not intrusive to show some here.
When the water is shallow enough to walk in, shorter gear may be sufficient.

I really dig the first image. I would never have thought of, or expected , the use of a fisheye for an application like this!
-
Like the others; the first one is really exceptional and creative.
-
Thank you for the comments Thomas, Tristin and Chris.
It is difficult to use but I really love to work with this fisheye once in a while.
-
Excellent usage of a fisheye.
