I like the first one better.
Perspective, framing, light integration, the sub context in the background - it makes the story go round, it has more street charm, doesn't look over-setted.

Armando, I always admire your sense of lightings, and this is yet another example for that.  Did you direct the flash head towards the model?  The warmer color temperture of the street light gives a nice partial coloration effect.

Akira, yes I changed the flash zoom to 50mm and angled it towards the model

I prefer the first, tells a story greater than smile for the camera. I think the first image could be improved with a slight correction for the converging lines.

Thanks for the technical detail.  I also prefer the first image.  The flash light and the street light merges very well and fit with the skin tone of the model.
