Anirban it was the original intention to start an open thread, hands as a theme is much more personal.

Ouch that must hurt ....
A gentler yet effective approach to 'hurt' your appearance is just shoot your hand in UV. That'll add about 100 years of age to any person.
-
Seems unhurt...

Weddings are full of hands. Colourful and beautiful ones.
From 2013, my friend's wedding. I was only carrying Canon P&S S100.

I was trying a hand selfie, my daughter saw me struggling trying to shot single handed while trying to keep my right hand on the paper, she volunteered to shoot, 3 times until she didn't cut my hand in weird places

It reminds of a similar scene... comes intense well to my mind. I think you captured it well. Paper thin skin and translucent light.

" Celebration "
I could not help but feel a very powerful sense of joy and celebration when absorbing the energy from the hand images.

Tuning up a gorgeous clavichord for the zarzuela I have work with this weekend.
Beautiful instrument, know of any details on the clavichord Paco?
-
I know is a modern replica of an 15th or 16th century. It is a property of the director of the "Orquesta Barroca" here, in Granada. I´ll get some more specific info for you
-
Clavichords are generally 18th century? Thanks Paco.
Maybe a cembalo, or harpsichord.
-
Nice image, Paco.
The instrument looks very sophisticated. If it is a replica of an old clavichord, the original should be made in 18th century.
-
You guys are right. I put the info in a separate thread: http://nikongear.net/revival/index.php/topic,8432.new.html#new
