Perhaps my best photography practice ground is the birds in and around my home.

Love the 2nd shot. This is a 'weaver' bird I think? Very cool that you caught it in motion carrying the grass blade!

Andreait is indeed a weaver. To be specific, a Southern Masked Weaver (Ploceus velatus).
