Sometimes I give the PC 28/3.5 and catholic masses a chance, although both are not my favourites. Both are redeemed by the Df.

Well, they have seen the light...
The strange thing is that everyone remains so passive in such circumstance!

cool feature of this hall. You may try some other angles though, get mor backlight to the heads?

Indeed, I should have kneeled down. That was the right moment, by the way (consecration)

AH... :-) My kids call that a "Miracle", when seen on a cloudy day in a landscape... So I guess that , in a church it would strike them even more ! :-)

cool shot Airy - was the streak of light that bright? I think it could perhaps be toned down a bit? Just a feeling - not saying I am right.

Well ... this truly is a god-beam :D :D

It was indeed that bright: clear skies, noon, blazing sun through clear windows (all stained glass was blown away during WWII, and the old Merklin organ too). I had to lift the shadows a bit.

Amazing isnt it. I really like it .

I use to visit that church "en passant", also because the organ is pretty good and the organist is a nice talented young guy, but this is the first time I felt like pulling my Df out of the bag. What makes that poorly decorated church more remarkable, is it being full. This has become rare. The church is located in the former working-class district of Wazemmes, also explaining its "poor" appearance. The population is very mixed, which I like - I hate ghettos.

YES!

You really captured the right moment there. Nice.

the moment captured me (for 5')
