Hi,

I am long time lurker, here is my first post. I,m just tryingto learn how make to make BW pics. with my Df.

All critic is welcome.

I guess the structure should be visible in a way that leads the eye into the room. A photo is always flat, so we need to use symbols for depth, leading lines etc. Forgive me if I post examples I took with my smartphone today for illustration purposes: roof in black and white.

Andreas  Feiniger wrote a lot about the art you want to master.

  You are off to a good start. Minimalist approach with leading lines, strong contrast, rhythm and an interesting right-down corner...

Liking shapes and shadows, I agree with Paco.  The diagonal line at the bottom with the OOF area adds further interest.  Well done.

Welcome. Image has a very film like look, I like that for B&W ;)
