There's a new hotel in town called The Edge.

That seagull is really living at the Edge :D
Sharpish looking architecture - on its own brilliant, but I wonder how it blends into the cityscape (this is Tromsø?).
-
This is Tromsø yes, - and in this city nothing blends in with anything...
-
OK, so it is all about seeing beauty in the chaos then.
I would prefer the old building stryle, though. By far. It really blends in with the demands set by the arctic nature itself.
-
Interesting geometry revealed by #2. The lonely seagull is also a plus. Otherwise I tend to agree with Bjorn R.
-
Number 2 is my pick as well, strong lines.
-
The clue is in the name.
-
The long shot at the end tells me the most about the hotel.
It looks like one of those climate-controlled buildings where the windows don't open, and there is a vent on the wall with a knob that says "air".
-
The first thing that came into my mind was 'Clean'. These images are bold and clean. In the last image, the hotel reminds of sails.
-
even the design on its own is clear and good (nordic feng shui ;))
i find it is a pity to put it into that place - poor neigbours - 12 month mid winter night
the pictures, especially including the birds, show the style of the building and its place in a perfect manner

Thank you all for the comments :)
