Title: Europequake
Post by: Airy on March 05, 2022, 22:53:43
Strolling with the Df and Voigt 58/1.4 (with the 28/2 AI in the bag), one of my usual "reporter" settings.
No politics here.

I met surprizingly many people who had their families or lives torn apart, from Ukraine, Poland, Belarus. Either they cannot get there any more, or they recently came back after fifteen years of expatriation and can forget about visiting their friends, or just have to spit out their anger. Lots of sometimes diverging opinions were expressed politely, as there was at least one agreed point, "niet voynie".

I also met one guy with a Z9, and another one with an F2 + 105/2.5; I was the guy in the middle, so to say. Few shots, as I initially felt like a voyeur. Listening, then asking questions, then chatting, were first priorities. After one hour or so, I came back to my old shooting habits.

Second and last part.

Lots of "shooting in the back", for several reasons: sensitive material it is, and I was part of the rally, rather than onlooker.

Less seriously, there is an expletive hereunder that you better not look up.

Some more, 12/3/2022. Half as many people compared to previous Saturday. Getting used to it?

Df, Voigtländer 58/1.4.

Thank you for these images. So sad that Ukrainians should be facing such brutality in this day and age.
