Title: Problem with Affinity Photo JPEGs
Post by: ianwatson on January 30, 2022, 23:14:54
If I export a JPEG from Affinity Photo and attempt to post it here then I am rewarded with a blank screen. If I export a TIFF and then use Capture One to produce a JPEG from that then posting works normally.

This is more likely an issue at my end than with NikonGear. Does anybody have any ideas?

Affinity states something about layers in the export template, can it have sorting to do with the problem?
My jpg came out fine.

I tried checking that box about layers. Let us see if it works.

Do you guys btw also notice a reduction in sharpness when exporting scaled down JPGs?

Have been using Affinity on the iPad for a while now and did not notice this issue before.

I am not a heavy user of Affinity, but bought it as supporting the new company.

Neither am I. I bought it for processing photographed negatives (Command-I to invert makes life so much easier) and am just starting to use it more generally. This has been my first attempt exporting a reduced JPEG.
