Today I shot a few images to test my newly acquired TC14II converter which transforms the 70-200mm into a 98-280mm f5.6. Sharpness wide-open at f5.6 seems ok.

Hi Luc,
These look rather good. Which zoom version is yours - the VR II or the FL?
For anything above 24 MPix I would recommend the TC14 III, a net improvement in performance.

Hi Wally, I stumbled across a cheap used TC14II. As I shoot with the 24mp Z6 the performance of the TC14II is ok for me. I can imagine a higher mp sensor does stress the optics more as indicated by your remark.
